A unique learning experience on wheels
A special purpose vehicle was developed by JCBL for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to commemorate the 100th birthday of Vikram Sarabhai - the creator of this organization. Inaugurated by Dr. Susan, Chairman ISRO, Secretary Department of Space and various other dignitaries also attended the function. Honourable PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, also addressed the gathering and applauded the contribution of ISRO and DAE for development of the scientific community.In continuation of the objective to create public awareness about the activities of ISRO and the social benefits brought by Indian space programmers, the Department of Space and Atomic Energy conducted a field exhibition using seven vans manufactured by JCBL.
The exhibition van exhibits top milestones achieved in recent years by way of audio visuals and for general public, covering displays of rockets, spaceships, launch vehicles and various space missions like:
- Chandrayaan- 1.
- Mars Orbiter Mission.
- Launch vehicles, PSLV, PSLV C45, GSLV.
- Various defence satellites EMISAT.
- Communication satellites GSAT 7A, 31.
- Mars Orbiter Mission 2.
